Best quick and easy nail varnish?

I love having 'done' nails but as they're so short they grow out quickly and so I begrudge paying. I have lots of polishes but have yet to find one that can be done in a couple of coats and dries quickly - I always seem to be left with dimpled nails after using a towel/going to bed -even hours after doing them.

Anyone found any polish that lasts a reasonable amount of time AND dries quickly?

Try using a drying topcoat such as Seche Vite, from Boots.

Yes to quick drying top coats. I prefer the Sally Hansen Insta-Dry (red bottle). Total game-changer.

Aah thanks - now that's a cheaper (and more versatile) solution. I have a top coat I love (the revlon colorstay gel one) but it does seem to take hours to dry - I actually often do the colour one day and the top coat the next precisely for this reason!

Sally Hansen insta-dry nail polish is a good one as well as the top coat, it dries very quickly.

Seche Vite is great and stops the crumpling.

I would recommend Gel Strips, you stick them on, cut the excess off quick file, cure under a uv lamp and they last 3 weeks, if I choose a light colour or clear base then. I can get 4 weeks, you then loosen the edges and they peel off leaving no damage whatsoever.Gel Strips

Essie gel couture- 2 coats of the nail varnish and then the top coat.

It's the only nail varnish I've used that lasts for more than about a day. And I've tried absolutely loads!

Gah, I’ve given up Amazon for Lent so got DH to order sèche vite for me (I know it’s cheating!) so did 2 coats revlon at 8 last night, woke up this morning and they were wrecked, had to redo at 6am.

Will give the gel strips a look, did try the old stickers you could get from that weird MLM but didn’t get on with them

I like the nails inc 45 second gloss varnishes. They really do dry beautifully quickly, and seem to last as well as anything else.
