I have rubbish skin, ageing and pores becoming really noticeable.
Can't seem to find any make up to suit at the moment.
Would you suggest bb cream for skin with large pores or stick to foundation?

I'd try a matte foundation with a glowy primer underneath

Swallowdoubleandrunamile · 26/03/2023 18:18

I've been using Erborian CC cream, I love it.
Very light and seems to improve my pores and even out my skin tone.

@Fluffodils thanks can you recommend one?

@Swallowdoubleandrunamile aah great, I'll have a look

I use the cheap as chips Garnier BB cream with benefit porefessional on my worst bits. It’s not perfect but best combo I’ve found for me so far.

I use the charlotte tilbury glow primer but I'm going to use the elf one once it's run out as I imagine they are the same thing really. I use no7 foundation

Thank you.
@Snoopystick I bought the Garnier one, but found it to be goo thick.
@Fluffodils thanks I'll take a look on Boots .

Kiko BB cream, I'm old but it's brilliant

So1invictus · 26/03/2023 21:14

Erborian BB is great. As is IT Cosmetics CC. Both Korean so a much fuller coverage than western brands. (like a medium-full foundation) Erborian CC is a less full coverage than IT but colour range is more limited so it wasn't for me. Love the BB though.

MabelMoo23 · 26/03/2023 21:18

Erborian CC here too. If I need a bit more coverage I add a tiny bit of foundation to it as well

YukoandHiro · 26/03/2023 21:20

How old are you? I had to stop wearing foundation after about the age of 37 as it just settled into the skin and made me look about 100.
Tinted moisturisers FTW

nickpick · 27/03/2023 07:30

Thanks, I'll have a wonder to Boots later.
@YukoandHiro I'm 47.
I must admit my skin care regime has beeb lacking over the last few years, due to life getting in the way, hopefully back on it now.
