Detangling spray for daughter!

Hi!
So I’m desperate to find a good detangling spray for my 11 year old daughter’s hair.

she hates having her hair brushed(diagnosed with asd last year) so think it’s probably a sensory thing.

her hair gets washed and conditioned in the bath but after is still quite tangled and her hair is quite thick.

we are using a kids detangling spray in pink bottle(can’t remember name of it) but it doesn’t really make much difference.

Anyone recommend anything that will make hair brushing easier?

thank you!

I find Aussie leave in conditioner works well for my kids. The kids detangling sprays were pretty useless

is her hair curly at all? If so - don’t brush it. Get a good detangling conditioner and comb through with a wide tooth comb before you wash the conditioner out.

I have v long curly hair and I use a HeadJog brush and Luna By Lisa Leave in conditioner, once it's brushed out I comb through some Voduz hair oil.

If she has curly hair, detangles her hair while wet with conditioner or damp with argan oil!

Work from the ends to the roots, not the other way around. Tear free method !

I use a tangle teazer on my long thick hair - literally 10 strokes or fewer for detangled hair post washing

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus KIDS Detangler 8oz amzn.eu/d/fRszcuj

This. And a tangle teezer.
