Nail ridge filler?

I have terrible vertical ridges on my nails - every finger except the middle one and forefinger.

It's not a health issue but seems to be caused by dryness/ washing up etc and old ages (I'm 60s) and am on HRT so it's not a meno thing.

Nail polish looks pretty awful.

I've got some stuff- various oils to rub in (ones a pen) but it's such a faff at the end of each day and it does make my nails very oily.

Is it worth carrying on with the nail oils or should I just use a ridge filler under polish?

This lady is amazing. She recommends regular oil and NO buffing. This is specifically about ridge but she has lots of other videos you may find helpful.
