Hello!
I'm going to the Dublin horse show in August with my DP who will be there for corporate reasons. We will be meeting lots of clients and it's going to be very glitzy! I've bought this dress -
www.roman.co.uk/marbel-print-dipped-hem-dress-14048472
It looks gorgeous on but I have no idea how to style it - from shoes to jewellery to handbag to fascinator!
Please help!! DP is the same height as me (5'5") so I tend not to wear really high heels and I'm rubbish at walking in them nowadays anyway!
Thanks for reading 😊

I can't tell the exact colours, but your accessories could be any of those in the dress. I 'think' they are an aubergine purple, pink and possibly black? It depends on your own colouring though. The pale pink might suit more if blonde, whereas purple/black if darker hair. Possibly even a hot pink could work- but again, more so if blonde I think.

Would you be needing to walk on grass? What about a low wedge? It will give some height, but also more supportive than just a heel. I'd also get a pashmina or formal cardigan/jacket incase its cold and windy, or for wearing in the evening.

Thank you! Yes it's pale pink, black, dusky pink and deep plum. There's just so many colours to choose to accessorise with! I'm fair skinned but not pale, tan well and hair is highlighted blonde. I don't think we will be on any grass but there will be a lot of standing and mingling so yes wedges probably a good call! I just don't want them to look too casual.

I'm FAR from a fashion icon or even know what is in fashion BTW. Just my own thoughts.

I used to always co-ordinate hand bag with shoe colour, but apparently this isn't always so common now. A nude coloured shoe blends in and will give the allusion of a longer leg. An ankle strap though (even worse in a contracting colour to your skin tone) has the opposite effect and will make the legs look shorter. I'm not sure if these wedges are formal enough or your budget? Are there any colours that suit you best? The pink, purple or something else? Would you ever use a colours handbag/scarf again? If not, maybe more neutral colours rather than a bright pink or purple.

Thank you 😊 I would use shoes and bag again so yes neutral probably best. I suit blush pink best I think. I'm lucky that I have long legs but can't do ankle strap as I broke my ankle years ago and it's still quite puffy so a strap would make it obvious. The wedges are nice thank you

I love all those, thank you! I agree with the headband fascinator/hat being a headband. I'm 40 this July, oval face, largish forehead that I hate!!
