Can anyone recommend a good eyebrow pencil?

I have quite dark brows - pic is natural with a bit of home tint. I use Benefit brow setting gel but I never really know what direction to sweep them in. They are kind of flat with a bit of an arch and a long tail. My face is quite long so too high arch would look wierd.

Someone at work has fab brows and they said they use a pencil. I'm thinking

  • go for an eyebrow shape?
  • use a pencil

I don't really think I need to go for microblading as they are quite thick.

Any tips on how I can have nice tidy brows all day?

I’m thinking of getting Code beautiful eyebrow gel. There are lots of good reviews for it.

You've got nice brows OP. I would just brush upwards. If there are any gaps then you can fill in with a pencil.

They are lovely, I would get a gel based product like NYX thick it, stick it, and brush the first third up, middle third 45degrees and the bottom down x

Thanks, some good ideas to try.

Thanks for the compliments, I was too lazy to pluck them when skinny brows were in. The mascara is Lancome brown, I recently upgraded from Loreal and its much better, less clumpy.

I just use a basic rimmel, really sharp, as op said it's technique. Practice makes perfect ! I then brush the pencil out abit to make it more natural and then use a brow gel and kind of sweep them up and out iyswim to really coat every hair. I use got2b glued gel

Huge fan of the Revlon eyebrow pencil. Twists up so you don't need a sharpener and brush on the other end.
