Will try and tag a few regulars - forgive me in advance for errors, omissions, etc

Today was the last day in DD's old nursery. 9 months of the dreadful one-hour long nursery runs every evening with a grumpy toddler in a baby carrier done, so DH and I both took a day off work to celebrate.
My color choices today were inspired by hanami dango (a Japanese sweet eaten at sakura flower viewing parties that consists of 3 skewered rice balls colored pink, white, and green).

Yesterday was this outfit - somehow it looked more flattering in real life, worn with grey trainer boots. But it needs something else somehow - not sure what though. Jewellery of some sort? Maybe tucked in with a belt?

Loving all the different trouser silhouettes @itssquidstella @dgirluk @EnoBaby It's great that we can go skinny or wide or barrel or anything and all look great.

Will try and post late when I'm out of dog walking and cheffing kit. Got friends round for dinner tonight so had better get cracking!

@dgirluk great jeans! I ordered those and they are hilarious on me- I am 5’1 and they are about 8 inches too long and cover my whole feet with one leg. oing to try The Agolde low slung baggy

@Sooverthemill oh no! I'd lusted after them for ages when they hit the sale, but I have the opposite problem - I'm 5'9 and had to get the long ones, and they're barely long enough. What I will say though is wet weather was not a great time to choose to wear them - I'd obviously forgotten about the pre-skinny jeans issue of trousers getting wet at the bottoms!

I also have some jeans from Zara which I can only assume re supposed to be stupidly long, because they sound like those on you, but on me. I'm going to persevere with them or possibly have them taken up, because the rest of the fit is great.

Love the blue patterned skirt @Greyhairwarmheart. I have a couple of those style White Stuff skirts from years ago when I used to like their prints, I don't like any of them now.

@Sooverthemill, cargo trousers look great. Do they fit OK lengthwise being 5'1"? Being 5'3" myself I regularly have problems finding trousers that fit. Although shouldn't really be asking as I'm now on a no buy year (or two).

@dgirluk, the jeans look great, love the shape, especially with the stripe top.

@Sooverthemill, sorry you are still unwell, did you test positive in the end? DH has done 2 tests the past 2 days, still negative, but symptoms seem like teens who are still not better. I made myself a bed up on the sofa last night, the Covid free part of the house gets smaller by the day. Think we will not be going to the Cotswolds for our holiday next Saturday. Only have 2 outfits plus PJs and knickers that I rapidly extracted from the bedroom with my toothbrush yesterday morning. Will be washing and wearing until I go back in there where DH is hiding, at least they are mainly merino so don't need so much washing. Or is this an April Fools? If only!

We had an entrance ceremony at the new nursery today. I was supposed to wear a belt with these Boden trousers, but something unfortunate happened to it right before going out so I had to do without it.
I'd love to get some more trousers from Boden, the ones I wanted were on a pre-order for the longest time (you can't buy a pre-order item from overseas) and now they've been sold out for forever.
I've also got my refunds from Sezane and a coupon, so I'm pleased with that, but I'm not risking buying the shoes from them again. I did use today's special discount though to get my 6th Gaspard. Look at me who used to think what can be appealing about such a simple cardigan, and now I own them in 5 different color variations with a 6th on the way!

@EnoBaby those are the sock type trainers, v cheap, got them from my local ABC mart

It is so damp and grey and cold at the moment. It feels more like November than April.

Been to get my tragus pierced this afternoon. Worn my new Everlane jeans for the first time but decided to raw hem them this morning.

@toucaninjapan I think once you find an item you love, it makes perfect sense to buy it in every colour - you'll regret it if you don't!

Agree, I have a summer dress like that, just a simple tank dress but I've bought it in every colour since it came out and I have it in 6 different colours having bought one a year. This summer it has been discontinued, so I'm glad I did.
