Great outfit for entertaining at home!

I am so sick of the weather! I mean it’s not warm but at least we’ve had a few warmer days!

Very uninspiring jeans, m and s sweater and docs. Still prefer wearing trainers!

I'm also absolutely sick of this miserable weather, so done with grey skies. I need some sunshine!
The Cos dress arrived, I love it so definitely keeping. Ordered these Boden sandals today so I'm hoping that blue skies and warmer weather will be with is soon.

@EnoBaby love your outfits last two days. The Everlane jeans look lovely and I absolutely love your loafers.

Long time lurker just popping on to say I remember this time last year everyone on here fed up to the back teeth with the weather, cold and windy rather than wet, for weeks and weeks. And everyone fed up with wearing jumpers and cardis. Then look at the temperatures we got in the summer!!!

It happens every April. My birthday is the end of the month, I usually get sandals or summery clothes for my birthday and can never wear them until late May. Last summer was indeed a scorcher.

Agree, I went out for a long walk today with thick merino leggings, merino hoodie dress with merino long sleeved top underneath, long wool coat, gloves, booble hat. I was freezing. It's April.

I'm absolutely gobsmacked.
The ballet school refused our admission!
Today was the payment day, I gave the money to the owner of the school in the special envelope she gave me last time, with DD's name printed on it and all that, and asked for a receipt (I need it to use some bonus points our company provides). The owner tried to say she doesn't issue receipts, I politely insisted I need a receipt and she said I'm too troublesome and she won't accept us into her school, proceeded to hand me the money and rip the envelope apart in front of my face. I was gobsmacked, but managed to say "well, there are many ballet schools around, I guess it's for the best" and we left.
DD was crying her eyes out because she couldn't do ballet today, poor thing.

@EnoBaby there's actually nothing special about the entrance ceremony, the nursery teachers introduced themselves, introduced newcomers like us, we took photos and left. I heard graduation ceremonies are more special

Yesterday's outfit was a shirt from a seamstress with a cool tail, and simply Boden slim fit suede trousers.

Today we are at a farm, so just a fleece and jeans for rough wear.

Thanks @Netcam and @HorribleHisTories15 the red is a super cheap Crazy Colour. Allegedly temporary but I don't think it's going to wash out! My alternative is really quite grey now, so this is definitely better and a change from the pink it's been for the last couple of years :)

@toucaninjapan I haven't followed the whole ballet school thing, but it does sound like you've had a lucky escape, and I'm sure you'll find a much nicer school. At least you found out what they're like now, before you enrolled, and discovered at a more difficult time!

@tobee I'm also so over the cold. It feels like it's dragged on forever. We were out on mountain bikes this morning, and motorbikes this afternoon, and I feel like the cold has just got into my bones and doesn't want to leave! (No outfit photos today as I suspect bike shorts and jackets, and motorbike protective clothing, aren't very exciting :) )

We have glorious sunshine but still absolutely freezing, will be wearing my big puffa coat plus scarf when we go out later.
