Hair dye - I'm desperate!

So desperately trying to get rid of the dyed red in my hair. It's a dark red. It doesn't suit me, at all. I have washed my hair (clarifying shampoo, H&S, fairy) an obscene amount of times over the last week, done two Vit c washes and its still there! Just seems to becoming even more lighter/redder!

I've ordered a neutral brown box dye to go over it in a last attempt to obliterate the ruby tone. Will this help? https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/257992940?sc_cmp=ppcGHS+-+Grocery+-+NewMPX_Shopping_All_Other_Smart+Shopping+All+Products_Other_Online+BudgetAll+ProductsPRODUCT_GROUP257992940*&ds_rl=1116322&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1NeCv7f0_QIVF4BQBh0yIQE4EAQYASABEgJEyfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I can't go down the bleach route as my hair is looking very fragile and I don't fancy using a colour remover either.

I've also ordered some green shampoo & mask - Fanola no red.

You know when you've made that mistake with your hair and you're kicking yourself over it and just hate it every time you look in the mirror, that's me right now. I never learn.
