Inspiration for plus size

I'm lost and bored and would welcome a bit of inspiration! I'm 38, 5'9, size 18-20. In proportion curves. Long curly red hair, blue eyes. Normally I'm comfy in country wear - jeans/shirt/gilet/ boots etc. I'm just a bit stuck as to what to wear when I want to dress up a bit!! I have a retirement dinner with some of my partner's colleagues in a couple of weeks and I want to look nice.

Any ideas?!

There are plenty more! These are just the first that spring to mind. More expensive brands cut more generously, so a size ‘16’ garment might actually have the proportions of a size 18 somewhere cheaper.

slightly taller but same size as you and i wear quite a bit from Cos, also H and M, i really rate some of their dresses. Do not forget Anthropologie, I got a fab dress in their sale.
