How to put on mascara

I'm in my 50th. I've never liked using mascara as I have really short blonde eyelashes that's hard to do much with.

I habe been trying to teach myself some new ways of doing make up as honestly I'm following how I did it in my teens and mascara keep being used as a must.

Any good tutorials anywhere that are not a video. I find the videos so hard to follow even sith pause on. Often when I go for what I see some do I end up with huge panda eyes as the day go on. I also find I can see my eyelashes when they have mascara in a way that disturbs my vision. I have had them dyed and it does work to some extend but I find it really uncomfortable to.get done as I am always told how short they are and how hard it is to do.

Any ideas?

See Robert Welsh on YouTube he's really good. Not James (his twin) he's the skincare one.

Clear mascara: If you prefer a more natural look, you may want to try using a clear mascara. This can help define your lashes without adding color or making them look too dramatic.
Eyelash extensions: Another option is to get eyelash extensions, which are individual lashes applied to your existing lashes. This can create a more dramatic and voluminous look without the need for mascara. However, it can be more expensive and time-consuming than other options.

Try a tuning mascara, no panda eyes!

@Enko i think the PP meant a tubing mascara! They are less likely to smudge but are easy to remove.

I usually end up with black streaks under my eyes unless I use a mascara setter like keep em dry

No suggestions sorry but I've been using uklash serum after my eyelashes got damaged from using a cheap mascara and it's added so much length and thickness. I'm about 4 weeks in (daily application) and it's already made a huge difference. It's supposed to take 8 weeks.
It makes putting mascara are much easier.

I already use brown mascara as black really makes me look awful :)

The wikihow is what I am doing now and what I have been doing since my teens. Apart from the curlers I have not got long enough lashes to curl them. (even make up artists cant do it)

I use primer

I figured it was tubing mascara :)

Currently using Diorshow Pump n volume

Never tried a setter so will look at that
I have had the uklash serum recommended by the Dior lady actually I will try that too.
I don't think a clear mascara will do much as my eyelashes are small already
I have seriously considered extensions but not taken the step. I am a bit worried it will end up looking weird.
