Job interviews

I'm applying for jobs and have some of my first interviews coming up.

I'm a size 16 and have hardly any clothes, I tend to rotate the same jumper and leggings or sports wear most of the time at the moment!

What does one wear these days to interviews? I last applied externally about 15 years ago, in the last 15 years I've had a uniform to wear so have just worn that to internal interviews. Thanks all.

Hi Obama! Sorry you've had no replies...
Depends on the role. Mine are usually middle management level.

I've done a few interviews recently. At the first one pre lockdown I wore a smart dress and posh shoes and felt totally overdressed. I couldn't keep up with the guy showing to the interview room !

Now I just wear a pair of LK Bennett trousers I found in a charity shop, smart boots I can walk in and a light shirt with a pattern on it. Accessories are just smart ish bag and small earrings. It looks put together but doesn't scream "interview" iyswim.
So I reckon you can't go wrong with black or blue trousers and a non-boring but sensible blouse ...Good luck.
