40th Birthday

Need some ideas for a dress for my 40th birthday which is coming up soon. DH is taking me to a very fancy hotel so would like to take the opportunity to wear something special. Any ideas where to look? I have tried all the main sites I can think of but nothing is jumping out!

I have tried Next, Chi Chi London, Lavish Alice, River Island, started looking at ASOS but too many to look at.

I don't minding spending more as it's a big birthday, but not more than 150-200.

I want something glam but nothing which will look ridiculously over the top either

Deceptive glamour. Such a good buy. Unbutton to wherever, fold back sleeves, add a beautiful belt, jewels, bag, bright suede boots or shoes … The opposite of “try hard” - and you could wear it again and again.
