Am I right in thinking this will go with anything.

I have some money saved and I want a nice bag but it's so expensive so I want one that will go with every outfit for going out.

What do you think?

I think it will go with many things for a night out that block colours rather than ditsy prints and the like.

My niece has this bag- she's 30 and I would say it's for her age/ younger- and it looks great on nights out with block colour/ black outfits.

travailtotravel · 21/03/2023 19:03

Ooh i like that! Look great with plain colour outfits to add a pop and would ace a bit ashy clashy too. I might have to look ...

I've got that bag; got it from TKMaxx so discounted. I hardly ever use it as I struggle to fit anything more than a bank card in there (it's very stiff). Every bag I have with me needs to have space for a doggy bag of my leftovers (and I mean literally for the dog). I know what you mean about the multi-colours OP, and I have another bag which is faux fur in different colours and it does look right with absolutely anything I wear. For whatever reason the Kurt Geiger bag doesn't seem to look right with much of my stuff.

CinnamonJellyBeans · 21/03/2023 22:34

I also thought of this bag when I saw the thread title!

getafringenotbotox · 21/03/2023 22:34

If you don't like your bag are you going to sell it?

Hi @getafringenotbotox > Are you asking me that question? If so I hadn't thought about selling it. I always donate stuff that's in good condition but I've decided there's no point in holding on to anymore to my local charity shops. I'm not just altruistic, I've never been arsed to get around to selling on-line.

getafringenotbotox · 22/03/2023 19:19

I got the same bag as the poster above. I'm really happy. I managed to get a brand new one from vinted for a bit less than from the kg site.

I'm now going to sell all my other bags that are just cluttering up the space on top of my wardrobe.

I actually got the trainers to match also from vinted as I saved money o the bag so had some left over.

I'm really pleased 😀

@itsnotmeitsu

You really should try vinted it's really easy. Takes about a minute to post something and I have made about £500 in six months by selling all clothes etc that don't fit.

It's a pain hoarding it until it sells but I've been pleasantly surprised at how quickly things go and how easy it is to sell and then post.

I prefer it a lot more than eBay.

Hi @getafringenotbotox > I'll look into Vinted, but to be honest I think my local charity shops will be devastated if I stop donating, ie close down; I give them so much stuff. A couple of weeks ago I donated a Balenciaga bag which I'd only used a few times. But I will start using the Kurt Geiger bag again x

Niftythrifter · 23/03/2023 07:35

@getafringenotbotox Like a pp said my Kensingtons don’t fit much. I bought a black leather one from TK Maxx with multicoloured thread and a tweed one in the KG sale. I would say that both are classic due to the style and the materials/ colour ways as they are in the style of a Chanel bag just without the price tag.

getafringenotbotox · 27/03/2023 19:40

Bag came. I love it.
