I feel so frumpy and boring. I live in jeans and jumpers because it takes very little effort. I want to feel better about myself.

I am a size 18 with a tummy, think id be classed as an apple shape. Im 43 and 5ft 3.
I have a lot of clothes but pretty sure most are too small or I don't like them.
I think with spring coming I can't just chuck on my jeans and a jumper and be done.

The clothes I wear are
Leather style leggings
2 pairs of mile high levis (dark blue and stone wash)
couple of dresses
2 hoodies
3 jumpers
2 tshirts.

Im looking for things that will work with jeans and leggings. I also don't have a smart-type jacket. Was thinking about a blazer-type jacket but I don't know what colour would work best.

I work from home so I don't need to get dressed up for work. I just want some outfits that make me feel less potato like and would work for dates or going out shopping or days out.

Fellow short potato here, so following with interest! Almost the same as you, except I'm 5 ft 1.... I find a lot of the dresses out at the moment don't suit me as I'm so short? I prefer a knee length to midi.

I've gotten on well with jumpsuits recently, as well as long line cardigans (but not waterfall) as I find they lengthen me a bit?

@Pootles34 In my head I picture myself looking elegant with nice jeans with a lovely top tucked in and a blazer. But in reality I would look crap. I actually found dresses from nobody's child are really lovely. I get the mini and they come to just above my knee here

I am a potato too! I live in snag tights, dresses and cardigans. It's easy to throw on in the morning but always looks like I've made an effort even though I find putting on jeans and a top much harder! I love vinted for dresses, I get m and s ones that seem to fit well. I also do a big SHEIN shop now and again. I know it's terrible abd fast fashion etc but I find they do great smock style dresses or easy wrap ones that look great with a leather belt

I am also a short potato. I find belts uncomfortable so tend to stick to skater dresses or fitted knee length skirt and jumper. Batwing tops which fit at the waist work for me as well. Chunky boots to balance me out.
