Luggage - suitcases

Our cases are in their last legs. We’ve got fabric ones but they are a bit flimsy so the top bit you zip round the main body of the case is all stretched and baggy. Hope I’m explaining that ok! So hard case or a better soft case which is more structured/better fabric? If you were buying again would you buy the same as you have or something different?

You can fit more in soft cases, but hard cases are just better for durability and coping with the stress of being chucked around/bad weather, I’m ex cabin crew and my samsonite cases lasted for decades, despite loads of use.

But for cabin luggage I’d pick sort wheelie bags.
