What’s your go to moisturiser when you’ve overdone it with the Tretinoin?

When will I learn that I can manage every other night and no more

Yet again I’ve chanced my luck and used it 3 days in a row and my skin isn’t happy

so what have a tried;

Cerave stings
Ordinary nmf stings
Avene Cicalfate fine but very thick more like something you’d put on a dry patch than spread round your whole face
Ceramidin also fine but the fragrance in it scares me a bit

Im happy with my la Roche posay Toleraine cleanser it’s not to drying so I’ll buy that all the time I just need to find a fragrance free non burning stinging moisturiser I can rely on and I’m not in the financial position to keep making mistakes

Altruist Moisturising Fluid 0.5 % Hyaluronic Acid amzn.eu/d/42Vgoom

I love this. It’s thick but not sticky or greasy.

Toleriane Dermallergo.
Using it right now as I've done the same, thinking I've been using Tret for a year so it will be ok to go to more than three times a week. It's not.

Clinique moisture surge intense and the ordinary hyaluronic acid layered does it for me when my skin is irritated.

I love it. I use their SPF face fluid too due to
using Tret and it’s fab and so reasonably priced too. AND it doesn’t break me out, even when other things have even while using the Tret!

The SPF can leave you feeling a bit greasy for a while but I just let it soak in completely and it’s fine. I like it under makeup too. I’ve tried other mattifying ones because of my oily skin and they just made me look awful.

blackberryginandtonic · 18/03/2023 19:02

Nivea crème in the blue tub.

LRP cicaplast with REN ever calm balm over the top means I wake up with no irritation finally
