Hair colour advice

Looking for advice on hair colour. I’m mid 40s and greys are coming in thick and fast. Natural colour was a sort of chestnut brown, I’ve been having blonde highlights for over 20 years now, with an all over brown tint applied too now to cover the greys. I’m hating the blonde/brown/grey mix now and it’s getting to the point where I’m really needing colour done around every 3 weeks. I don’t want to be paying for colour that often. Should I go for an all over colour and stop the highlights? If so what colour, should I do it at home, and if so are there any recommended brands? I have green eyes and quite dark brows/lashes, fairish skin.

I would get a professional to do it the first time if you're going for an all over colour after highlights and other colouring. They'll be able to take into account any bleach etc which can throw the colour off and make sure it's an even colour all over.

After that you should be fine to then do it yourself at home to keep up with regrowth.
