If you’d got tickets for the Coronation concert - what would you wear?

I’m rubbish at this kind of thing.

I’m tall (6ft) size 16, thick waist but great legs, hate wearing heels . Tickets are standing so I want stylish comfort?

obviously it will be early May so maybe longish dress and trainers?
Show me some lovely stuff fashionistas!

Something comfy. I was on the mall for the golden jubilee it's a bloody long day and no will give a monkeys about what you're wearing. You could have to walk half a mile to the portaloos and half a mile back. It will be an endurance event not a fashion one.

I’m following with interest - I have no idea either. I was originally thinking of a tea dress with denim jacket but…. Maybe something warmer.

Do you have any ideas of timings?

I'm into 40s/50s fashion so would wear wide leg trousers with a boat neck top; it's early May so I'd have a denim jacket as it's not only warm(ish) but also slightly waterproof. Or possibly jeans with the same top. Probably Converse or Doctor Marten-style boots as it could be a hike to the loos, plus any grass is likely to end up slippery so the decent footwear is essential.

@cocksstrideintheevening , oh I’m defo all about the comfort, I’d like to look nice too!

@MakeupTable this is the kind of thing I’m thinking about. No idea of details… still excited that we actually got tickets!

@MedievalNun sounds lovely- I’d thought converse for sensible shoes

I’ve noticed in the small print that umbrellas are not allowed.

Another thing to take into account 🤣
