From what I’ve seen so far…

The Good

Cara Delevingngnengne - yeah ok she’s a model and it’s literally her job to look good in anything, but she really does look stunning here

Malala - just gorgeous. Looks like the powerful goddess she is

Kerry Condon - a walking ray of chiffon sunshine

The (let’s put it kindly) not so good

Florence Pugh- I know she likes to take risks but I was looking forward to seeing what she was wearing tonight… and then she turned up in this scrunched-up-toilet-paper-and-cycling-shorts looking mess.

Paul Mescal - looks like a cocktail waiter from the 70’s

Alison Williams is wearing a kingsize bed valance my Mum had circa 1988

Harvey Guillen - Sam Smith wants your stylist’s number. And that ain’t a compliment.

The tight black low cut dresses are perfectly fine just dull.

The back of it was awful

I would disagree. it was well structured and had great shape.

Murphyturphy · 13/03/2023 12:36

Best dressed for me were Jamie Lee Curtis and Andie McDowell. I also like a Jennifer Connolly’s dress but her hair is too severe. Cara looked amazing in red as does Melissa McArthy.

Worst, any of the white dresses. Emily Blunt usually does really well as well but hair, make up and frocks recently have all been off.

My favourites are Fan Bingbing and Hong Chau.

Least favourite is Salma Hayek, it's so badly fitted it looks like something you'd drunk order from boohoo. Shame because she's just soo beautiful and talented, her stylist did her dirty.

I like Ana De Armas, Cara Delevigne, Rita Ora (might only have been at Vanity Fair). Like Jamie Lee Curtis too - would have preferred it without the boning but that's clearly on trend and she looked lovely.

I admire Rihanna's refusal to do dull maternity and I didn't mind hers from the front but the fit at the top was awful side on.

Felt sorry for whoever got stuck behind this cloud frock. I'd have gone looking for a scissors.

In general I thought they were a lot better than previous years. Of the ones shown on the BBC webpage, only disliked Florence Pugh's one.

Yes, it’s better but the hair and make up aren’t great.

I think Jessie Buckley is stunningly beautiful..but her dress was awful.
