I have these and they are the most god awful, uncomfortable shoes I've ever owned.

They're size 5 and black patent leather, happy to give them away for free I hate them so much 😂 worn once in the house before I cried so, plenty of life left in them lol

Hi, OP here (messaging from my phone with different username)...I never had much luck with m&s shoes in the past, so probs looking for a higher price point to get better quality..Wallis ones look nice but not leather?

I tried some similar to that (in black and in grey suede) from Gabor last year - I sent them both back in the end as I was between sizes, but you might have less awkwardly shaped feet than me! I bought via Charles Clinkard so that I could return for free at the nearest shop (Gabor online charges for returns).

If you do a Google Lens search you'll find a few options. Next stock them in nude and black

These Carvela shoes are similar but black, leather, £99.99 down to £69.99

Kurt Geiger have some with a smaller heel (these are suede, they have a black leather version too) which are over your budget but they have decent sales if you don’t need them immediately?

Definitely Office they have loads of leather shoes. Seen some online - black and other colours, pointed block heel and many are half price at the minute :-)

Have a look at the Vionic website - they have some great shoes.
