Long term user of double wear mascara as it simply does not budge, smudge or flake with me. However I find it dries out too quickly these days so looking for something new - something that stays put like DW..

Hourglass Caution Extreme is what you need. It never budges.

I've tried loads and was so sick of spending £20 + on mascara, my favourite was Lancôme Doll eyes but it dried out too quickly. I've found the No7 extreme length waterproof to be brilliant. Really good length and definition, doesn't make my lashes look overdone or clumpy.

I've tried that - but it smudges for me :(

I swear by Clinique lash power, very similar to double wear as it doesn't budge. I've tried loads and they all smudge and always go back to Clinique, it does dry out though but not as quick as DW.

I like Eyeko Beach Waterproof mascara. It's the only one I've found that doesn't flake or smudge. I also suffer from watery eyes and this doesn't run at all.

(I also really like their eyelash curler!)

Use my referral if you fancy giving it a go. £10 off if you spend £30+

Max Factor Masterpiece Max is the best I've ever had

Agree with the Max Factor one. It doesn't move.
