Are roka bags worth it?

Eyeing a backpack to replace my Kanken which has lasted forever but worn quite badly and the straps were never that comfortable.

I’ve got one of the Roka Finchley A backpacks (medium size) for work and I love it! It’s got loads of pockets, the back is well-padded, the canvas material seems durable and overall it feels really good quality.

I would say the straps let it down a bit as they’re not padded – I’ve not had a Kanken but from looking at pictures the straps look a similar style. I find it fine for carrying my laptop, water bottle and other bits though!

Looking at a roka too! Need to replace my changing bag for a backpack as will soon be getting rid of the buggy....

Can anyone say if a medium is big enough for two toddlers worth of 'stuff'?

I have a couple of Medium Roku backpacks & love them. Yes the straps aren't padded but I don't notice it much unless I'm wearing a strappy top.
Lots of room inside - a medium will fit a laptop. Definitely lots of room & lots of pockets. Advise getting one with external bottle holders on the sides though.

I have them in 3 sizes and use one daily. They seem really durable, one is now about 18 months in several times a week use and snows no signs of wear (Finchley canvas in plum).

The medium is fine as my daily work bag although I'm starting to reach more for the larger one as it means I can fit in lots without the bag feeling crammed full (large water bottle, notebook, book, wallet, make up bag, snacks, phone, diary, earphones, and umbrella in the side pocket).

I have a roka as my main day bag and really rate it. Lightweight, comfy, hard wearing, roomy. Nothing not to like about it really!
