We’re coming out of the JoJo Maman Bebe etc type shops and I’m wondering where is best to shop for a 5 year old plus girl? Thanks

Me too, so far Next and Boden have picked up the slack. But I feel there should be more. I used to buy lovely baby/toddler bits from Sainsburys and H&M but the older kids stuff is horrid.

Quite a lot of H&M (mainly for cotton basics, T shirts leggings summer dresses etc)
La Redoute
John Lewis - own brand and other brands
Joules (now gone)
M&S
Fat Face (good sales reductions)

I tend to start with H&M and La Redoute as cheaper and then fill any gaps from the other places

Next. Fat Face. Scamp & Dude. Nike. John Lewis. M&S.

IamChipmunk · 08/03/2023 21:58

Next, H&M, River Island, Sainsburys

missmoon · 08/03/2023 22:10

Mostly H&M and M&S, although they choose their own clothes now! (aged 8 and 11). We also get jackets from Uniqlo and occasionally something from Fatface.

Mines 10 now but we've done Boden, Next, H&M, fat face, white stuff, and joules

Ethelfromnumber73 · 08/03/2023 22:16

Also M&S and John Lewis

Digestive28 · 08/03/2023 22:19

H&M (but they need to try on as sizing is off), M&S, John Lewis, Joules, Fatface.
They need a lot less clothes when wearing school uniform 5 days a week so means can get fewer and nicer things

Zola1 · 08/03/2023 22:24

Mostly next or River Island and sportswear from Nike etc as she's always been v sporty

SuperGinger · 08/03/2023 22:27

I buy stuff from Lindex, H&M, Zara (although she’s moved out of the under 5s category there snd they had lovely stuff, sob!), a small clothes maker called Rashida and Noah. And I get second hand from Vinted.
