What am I doing wrong with concealer?

It settles in my lines and looks like it's sitting on my skin no matter what I do. Help!

Assuming you’re talking about under-eye concealer I’d recommend only applying it in the inner corner of the eye and blending out toward the middle of the eye. See Hannah Martin’s videos on Instagram for a demo. Works really well for me

Too much concealer / wrong type of concealer / not primed / not set etc!

So many possibilities. Can you describe your current concealer use?

Just use very little and just inner and outer corners. I also watched something where a makeup artist recommended dabbing over the concealer with a beauty blender sponge wet and sprayed with setting spray. Then immediate set with a little of this. I haven't tried that so can't comment either way.

This was my favourite concealer ever but I've run out and have other things to buy and other concealer to use before I repurchase! There's a video further down the page to demonstrate: beautyandtheboutique.com/collections/frontpage/products/veil-cosmetics-illuminating-complexion-fix

I moisturise then put dot it on (I use a revolution liquid one) then blend it with a sponge or my fingers

I think you are just suppose to pat it in gently and not rub it. This is what I do

I'm the same, doesn't matter how little I applied it always look bad, I can't even use a undereye brighten cream, I have two one from beauty pie, and one from becca, they both make my liner and my mascara melt all under the eye, when I don't use the creams my liner and mascara don't budge at all.

Wayne Goss has a video about this... Only put it in the inner corner and not under the whole eye. The skin in the corner doesn't move much so fewer creases.
