Anyone had Sofwave?

So have spent a small fortune on Sofwave treatment. I wanted something to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles and clinic I have went to are the only clinic in my region that offer this treatment. It can take up to 3 months to show effects I am told so just hoping to hear from anyone who has had it that it does work. Was super painful to go through and eye watering expensive but I totally trust the clinic I had it with and have faith in the process. Just hoped to wake up the next morning with now wrinkles for the price 😂. Anyone else had it?

Hi Edinlassy

How did you get on with the Sofwave in the end? I’m very, very tempted, but would you say it’s worth it? I’m drawn to it because of the impressive safety profile (particularly the fact that there’s no risk of fat loss compared with other similar technologies) but did you find it gave you enough bang for your buck?

Delatron · 05/07/2023 20:18

I’ve had it.

Just on the lower face as couldn’t stomach the full cost of it didn’t work!

I haven’t seen dramatic results.
Maybe a slight tightening of lower face but not enough that I’d have it again - far too expensive.

I think it has good data on lifting upper eye area. It’s just too much ££ for me.

Delatron · 05/07/2023 20:20

The reason I went for it is because there’s no risk of fat loss like you can get with Ultherapy (in the wrong hands).

I feel all these treatments are so expensive though for the results you get.

If I had all the money in the world I’d do it once every few years plus profhilo and Botox! But I don’t.

Edinlassy · 05/07/2023 21:12

Well I had just upper eye done, 3 months in no I do not think it was worth the £800 I paid I don’t even see a difference. I do have a top up in 2 weeks time but actually debating it as it was so bloody sore for very very little result

for the fact you need to redo this every 2-3 years I feel it’s much more cost effective just to have a face lift 😂

Ha that is my conclusion! My lower face cost £1600 full face £3k plus. I may as well save up for a face lift when the time comes..

Midlandsgirlatheart · 05/07/2023 22:38

Same for me Delatron- I’m far too scared to go ahead with any of the treatments that might cause fat loss so I hoped this might be the answer.
Sorry you didn’t get a good result Edinlassy. I’ve also read recently that you need to have the Sofwave done every year, not even every 2-3 years so it’s way too expensive for me. Back to the drawing board then……

Midlandsgirlatheart · 05/07/2023 22:43

Sorry, cross posted Delatron! Yes, that’s about what I’ve been quoted for lower face. I agree it would be cheaper to go for a face lift but I’m not brave enough to go through with it!

I’m just disappointed as I went in looking for tear trough fillers to sort the under eye out. I already get Botox for crows feet’s and was sold that sofwave would sort it all. It didn’t. Expensive mistake for sure. Still need Botox and tear trough fillers 😞

I know this is an old thread but have been recommended sofwave by a practitioner and am wondering if any others have experiences to share. I am 45 and have never had any treatments or injectables but looking for non-invasive anti-ageing interventions. The cost is off putting obviously but I would do it if it actually worked.

Nkmama15 · 29/09/2025 11:30

How were the results? I’m tempted to have done.

Edinlassy · 29/09/2025 14:41

I am the op. For me it was a very expensive mistake. Seen no difference in my skin and it was so painful would not recommend to anyone seen better results with a course of decent facials
