I'm having a wardrobe overhaul after losing my last bit of pregnancy weight. I'm petite at 5ft2 and a size 6 but am handy with a sewing machine so not necessarily looking for petite lengths.

I just want 2-3 pieces of knitwear and some nice tops that are simple and classic to mix and match. My workwear is quite casual so I tend to buy stuff that I can dress up and down. No real budget as I'm happy to pay more for better quality.

I don't want high street like Zara/H&M etc. Thinking maybe Whistles, Reiss, Hobbs, LK Bennett etc. Are there any I'm not thinking of? I'm sick of buying something and it not even lasting one wash before it bobbles/goes a weird shape.

Also good jeans? Are Levi still a good go to?

Margaret Howell for knitwear definitely.

Yes, Levi’s are still okay. But also try 7 For All Mankind and Paige for jeans.

Cos for their £17 V-neck t-shirts

Uniqlo also good for knitwear, and sized well for petite people.

Arket is good quality and I think pretty good value. Also Jigsaw (has a sale on at the moment).
