I am trying to grow out my heavily bleached highlighted hair as itโ€™s just had enough I think. Iโ€™ve not been my natural colour since a teen (30โ€™s now) and have been blonde for years. Itโ€™s just getting very hard to keep in decent condition as Iโ€™m getting older and itโ€™s snapping all the time despite rarely styling.

I think Iโ€™m a dark blonde / light brown naturally but ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿ˜‚. Pics are of when itโ€™s fully highlighted and now after 5 months of growth. It looks fairly awful apart from when in a messy bun or if curled and waved it sort of blends in. The last time I had it highlighted she added in some low lights to try and break it up.
Should I just persevere and hope eventually it will look like a baylage? ๐Ÿซฃ I keep getting tempted to whack a caramel type colour over the blonde bits. I donโ€™t want to dye the regrowth.
