How can I get a Mulberry bag authenticated?

A while ago I drunkenly bought a Mulberry bag on ebay. It was cheap for a Mulberry and I got the fear that I had made a mistake and bought a fake but was delighted when it arrived as it was good quality although it didn't have a serial number. At the time I contacted a company to have it authenticated, which they did. They thought it was probably a limited edition as everything stacked up quality and hardware wise and not having a serial number wasn't that unusual. I ended up not loving it as much as I thought I would (it's very small) and having not used it in years I have decided to sell it. But I can't! Because the email that was sent to me authenticating it was an account I no longer have access to and without a serial number people who have contacted me about it think it is fake. I can't remember who I got it authenticated through. I contacted Mulberry and they said they can't help as it is an older bag. Does anyone have any ideas? Googling just brings up generic "how to check your bag is authentic" sites which don't really help.

Authenticate4u.com. They are on Facebook and have a website. Based in Scotland. They’ve done a few bits for me over the years.

If the eBay link is still live you can get it authenticated on the Purse Forum in the Mulberry sub forum.

What bag is it?

Thanks both! Appreciate your replies and I will look into them.

I'm just bumping this as Authenticate4U haven't responded and there are posts on their FB saying they are not responding to messages. Any other ideas?

If you sell on Vestiaire, I believe they authenticate as part of the selling process. Although they charge a ridiculous commission I think.

You could list it on eBay for sale and ask the authentication team to authenticate it for you? Subject to their reply you could add their authentication, or pull the list as appropriate?
They are brilliant and very helpful. I have a collection of vintage bags and they have helped me in the past.

Contact Eileen at Authentic8. I think she charges £5ish.

Sell it on one of the many Mulberry FB groups with good admin. They won't let you put it up on the sale page unless you provide all the right photos of the interior and exterior and they can check it looks right before it goes live. You're much less likely to be scammed as well.
