Tall funeral outfit

I had a family funeral to attend soon and struggling to find something to wear.

It's a formal black affair and I want to honour that request.

I'm a SAHM who's slimmed out of all my old work wear. Add to that I rarely wear black. I have an old sleeveless top, old cardigan and old suit jacket that still fit (though are baggy)

I have a pair of black trousers that I hate and don't really want to wear.

Please find me a nice pencil skirt or dress that isn't too expensive (max £40 as I'm unlikely to wear it much) from a tall range that's black ...

Have a look on ASOS. I have several black pencil dresses for work from their Tall range.

I just had a look through ASOS. Not a lot that I liked and what I did like was too expensive.

I used to get quite a bit from there, but recently it seems to have gone super trendy (or I've got old)

Depending on your height and age I would find a simple shirt dress or black wrap dress as the often come in handy

I like the M&S one. I have a friend who works there so might see if she can order it in for me to try on.
