Laptop/work bag required

Hi,

Having decided against rucksacks as I think they look bulky on me, I'm looking for a stylish work bag that would hold a 15inch laptop. I currently use a old baby changing bag.

Any recs? My coat is light blue so I was thinking grey, white, brown or black.

I have one from Miatui - here.

It's a good size and the shoulder straps are a good length - comfortable even with a coat on.

I use a basic black Radley tote - on sale at the moment.

It fits plenty but I find a laptop heavy on my shoulder, so I take another hand held handbag for my personal bits and keep my tote as a work-only bag for my laptop, headset, notebook and coffee cup. Then I’m not constantly changing bags between the work week and the weekend too.

Did you want a shoulder bag or handheld?

@Starseeed That looks like it will hurt my shoulder. I like the idea of a nice handheld one if im honest.

Yes - it's not real leather but does not feel plastic - it's soft like leather.

Sorry for the naff link but it looks the only place that does the one I have. DH bought me this one a couple of years ago and fits my laptop, purse and bits and bobs perfectly

I had the Mia Tui one too! It was very heavy, even without anything in it. That was the main downside. I've now got a leather tote bag from M&S that zips up - it's not deisgned for laptops but fits a smallish one easily and I just have that in a slim sleeve to protect it.

@Koala2 I worry I'll look a bit hunchback style as I have a big bust! I think the style is very cool though. @ElizabethinherGermanGarden could you post a link?

@MuthaHubbard I like that a lot but always found Radley to be old fashioned, maybe I need to have another look!

I have this 1 and love it. Had lots of compliments on it and it's not bulky or anything.

I know you've said not a rucksack but just wanted to say that I've nackered my shoulder from years of carrying a heavy lap top on one shoulder. You can get slim/ femine rucksacks now. Depends how much stuff you want to carry but this one is nice - carries loads.

@Blueberrymood yes I think that's it. I feel like rucksacks look too bulky but I like those. The Anna Field looks more my style but again I worry ill look dated
