Black tie wedding...

I've never been to one. Thought I had an outfit but it's too daytime floral. Anyone like to help me look? I suppose an evening dress? I don't really have one atm.

It's in America which apparently means more glitz than the UK if anything.

I'm a size 18 apple with quite good legs, arms not too bad so I'd consider sleeveless, but broad shoulders so I'd rather not do halterneck. Don't really want to wear black. I have quite fair/red skin, brown hair, brown eyes, often wear green, avoid pink and some reds.

Budget for once in my life not too much of an issue, I'd be delighted to spend under 50 but could probably go up to 300 or so.

Bombshell dress? They do a range of wedding guest gowns. I’ve tried to link but the website is playing up.

I've had a good look at Bombshell... thank you. I'm not sure. Has to be said a lot of the dresses in my size are sold out. It may be partly due to feeling too appley for them but I'm not feeling it.

I quite liked this Monsoon number but my experience is that I don't have the waist for Monsoon, they are a bit hourglass purple

That Ever pretty dress is gorgeous! Has anyone ever ordered from them? I have a formal event coming up which needs conservative dressing. It just seems an awful lot of dress for the money.

I was tempted by your monsoon dress, OP. It’s lovely, but even the model seems to be suffering from saggy boobage.
