A foolish question on shampoo

Settle a disgreement for me please 😛 Purple shampoo is marketed as enhancing the colour of blonde hair, that's for coloured hair yes? Not natural blonde hair?

It's for both I would think

It's to make orangey or brassy tones more ashy to tone them down. Natural blonde hair wouldn't normally need this correction.

My hair was blonde when younger and I misguidedly used these sometimes - my hair looked duller.

It's for bleached or lightened hair. Highlights and the like. Good stuff.

Natural blonde won’t take the purple element as well as processed hair, so probably a little pointless
