Help - I recently ordered some Soolantra following recommendations on here. I knew it could get worse before getting better but I've been using it exactly a week and have today had a massive breakout on my right cheek - far worse than anything I've ever had from rosacea before. Is this normal? How long will it last? I'm so bumpy and feel incredibly self-conscious. Any positive stories gratefully received...

Changed my life. Seriously.

You need to work through the dieback, which is normal. I got worse at about 14-20 days, then improved pretty steadily. I still use it occasionally for blips, but not often.

I think I used it for 11 weeks or do.

Pictures of progress, I’d recommend taking one per week do you see the results. If you look at week 3 you can see the big spots. Week 1 was so sore. By week 6 you can see it’s smoother and less inflamed.

Thank you for this - really appreciate it. My skin has never looked so awful, plus jt is sore and uncomfortable, which I don't usually get either, and I could actually cry. Can I expect a week of it like this? 😭

It was amazing for me and took about a week to settle .

My photos show a drop in redness over the worst week. I had a couple of big spots the following week, but many had gone. The chin ones had pretty much vanished.

I would honestly suggest a photo each week. I took all my make up off and in bed on Monday I did a selfie. You forget over time how things improve.

Thank you. Really hope it settles soon. It's currently flared up on one side of my face only so I'm anticipating the same on the other side. I don't mind the redness as at least that can be covered but the bumpiness is just horrible.
