Moisturiser help

Littleguggi · 28/02/2023 21:44

Why am I struggling so much to find a moisturiser.

It needs to be suitable for skin that is:
Bit dry
Sensitive
Prone to redness/ flushing triggered by change in temperature, worse when makeup free

Ideally with SPF and fragrance free.

Currently using Paula's Choice but not fully satisfied. Also using dermalogica barrier repair relief cream as and when needed.

Not a fan of cerave.

Wanting something mid-range price wise

Please can you send your recommendations.

I am in love with the Dr Jart Ceramidin cream, which is rich yet light. It also comes in a spray format which is great to mist on when you’re feeling a bit dry

Another new discovery is Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station - this rescued my skin in December after that really cold snap.

Only downside is that neither have an SPF, but I always use a Factor 50 on top, mainly La Roche Posay spray or Thank You Farmer, which is a really light, gentle formula

Also forgot to say that Dr Jart do a sensitive skin redness-focused product range called Cicapair. It’s in Boots, so have a try next time you’re passing

Nuxe Creme Fraiche de Beaute moisturising cream is very soothing on the skin, I find.

Some brands there I've never even heard of, thanks will get checking!
