I am a bag addict but particularly love seeing well worn, squashy bag or backpacks (I also love seeing people 'in the wild' with their planners or diaries-am I sad?)
In the spirit of the 'show us your engagement ring' threads -anyone fancy a 'show us your bag' thread?

I do like a lovely shoe but I'm not really wearing heels much now, so can't justify. Whereas I use my bags a lot and will pass them on to DD in time (she's currently on the lounge fly bag stage of life!).

I have a few Mulberry bags but this is the one I'm currently using daily. Love a lovely bag. Some absolute beauties shown, makes me fancy a new one 😊

Which bag is that @Ihaveawonderfulpartner? I've never been much of a Mulberry fan but that one is a really lovely shape and the blue is gorgeous - is it a crossbody too?

Aww, thanks @SocksAndTheCity. It's the Anthony and you can get a slightly larger size too. I'm not sure of the colour, it's obviously blue, but they give them names like "clay" and I can't remember what that particular shade is called.

This is my current everyday workhorse, a not very exciting navy Michael Kors Harper. It’s the perfect size, roomy enough but not too huge. I’m hankering after something in a lighter colour, or maybe even tan, so this thread is brilliant-keep them coming!

Most of mine are Coach and Jaeger though I have a few Joules ones (current workhorse is a big tan leather Joules tote and I have a red leather bucket style of theirs for summer)

I have one of these too, in black. The leather is lovely.

I have this in silver, love Paul Marius bags. Got to be real leather for me.

Lovely bags on this thread and so good to see your Michael Kors @Whatthediddlyfeck . I've found on other bag threads on S&B that there's a huge amount of 'sniffiness ' shall we say about MK bags but in my experience I have always found them really well made and well priced.

I agree about the sniffiness , but I also agree with you about them being well made , that’s all I’m interested in, rather than the label. I’ve looked far and wide and so far I can’t get better than that navy bag for the size and feel of it being absolutely right for me!

My current favorite is the Coach Cassie 19. (Video from US retailer Zappos below). I call it my "away bag" because it is so versatile for travel. It can be casual with the cross body strap, professional with the short leather strap, or good for a more formal evening event with the gold chain strap.

It's on the smaller side, but fits most of what I feel the need to carry around with me.

This is my most recent purchase - to celebrate a new job.
1st outing planned over Easter.

It’s really versatile, the zip underneath does definitely make more space.

Late comer to this thread. And late to the joy of bags. I possess two handbags (for daily use), and a few random evening bags, and real tough, practical rucksacks. I'd like more of the former - daily handbags.

Can't work out how to post a photo but after years of carrying totes I've been on a mission to only have small bags - currently using an Apache London cross body number in "latte" with interchangeable straps. I think I've unwittingly been influenced by other mums I know though as since buying it I'm seeing the style everywhere at the school!

This thread is proving to be quite dangerous for me. Have sneakily been looking at the Paul Marius bags whilst DH is tucked up on the sofa watching the football. I could be very tempted but Must Be Strong.

I’m not going to be strong - going to order one. I just haven’t decided which. I quite like the bronze slouchy one but wondering if to go for classic brown.

They have so many gorgeous styles, I'm thinking about buying one of their bigger shoulder bags, but I haven't been able to justify it in my head yet!
