I am a bag addict but particularly love seeing well worn, squashy bag or backpacks (I also love seeing people 'in the wild' with their planners or diaries-am I sad?)
In the spirit of the 'show us your engagement ring' threads -anyone fancy a 'show us your bag' thread?

I love this thread so much. I’m in bed just now and CBA getting up but I have a soft spot for Weekend Max Mara handbags, particularly the Pasticcino range. I have 4 different ones, I’d buy them all
if I could. Everyday favourite is this one in black:

And this is my backpack, my laptop and lunch travel in it on days when I need to work in the office.

Bags are my hobby. Tbf I've been collecting a long time.

I have a strict one in one out policy now. I sold a Chanel woc and added a bit to the price to buy a gorgeous wicker Dior bag ( see pic ).

I have Chanel, Dior, chloe, ysl, aspinal and I have to say I have the most aspinal bags out of all of my bags. Seriously underrated quality.

Yep they don't get used as much as they should, some only twice a year but I adore them. They are placed at the end of my bed on the opposite wall where I can see them 🤣

When Dh lost his job 8 years ago I sold each and every one of My bags to stay afloat when it took some time to get another job. I have slowly built up my collection again but wouldn't hesitate to do the same thing.

Some people like a holiday, some a nice car. My thing is bags, can't tell many people about it though as they wouldn't get it, I see them as a break glass investment should the shtf again.

AND I enjoy wearing them!

I should say I've got some mint velvet and monsoon bags that I love too, they aren't all high end.

I have this backpack from Accessorize, the zip is a bit fiddly but I love the design

I love the Zatchels Sugar Cube Grande that @PawPrintsInMyPansies posted, I think I might ask for a chestnut one for my birthday, it's gorgeous 😍

I've just bought this in red and it fits EVERYTHING, it really is a great bag. Get lots of nice comments too.

I got it on holiday in Greece last year. It’s not branded so I don’t think you can find it online. You might find similar on Etsy though.

I have lots of bags. Currently using a red Le Pliage Neo in small but this is my most expensive bag - a 12 year old Bayswater. My current no-child bag is a Lulu Guiness Cole.

This is my current favourite. I can fit loads in it and I have a matching backpack which is perfect for long days out.

These three are my most used bags currently.
Big Sezane bowling bag for work (fits my laptop, water, lunchbox and whatever else).
A Polene crossbody bag and Feiler "peach dots" bag for casual outings.

Totally love bags but not into expensive or designer. I mostly move between three bags

Brown leather for work, my most expensive ever at £150

Black Uniqlo crossbody that most people hate for weekends/holidays

And orange Acessorize tote bag for summer. I dress mostly in black/navy/dark green/dark red so this bag is a real pop of colour for me but I love it.

I use other bags in between sometimes but they're my three main ones.

i had a bag almost exactly like that , a little bit taller, forty years ago! I loved it, it went with every work outfit, held masses of stuff.mine had a little zip pocket at the front which was brilliant for the front door key, to save fumbling around in the dark or rain.

I used it for about ten years , then it was used for storing art stuff when it got too shabby for work. I think I finally threw it out about three years ago when we moved and I realised how many bags I had…..

This is my favourite ever bag. I bought it In Florence in a real old fashioned leather shop opposite the Bargello in 1992. Because it is unstructured all sorts of things fit inside it. It has a key pocket and a central zip compartment for wallet.

DH puts some sort of magic cream on it every year to keep it supple.

Great thread! I really need a bag that's big enough for wallet, glasses, phone, make up, keys, current book I'm reading....! without being too cumbersome. I love satchel style the most; not keen on a back pack.
I'd love it if people could recommend ideas. Ideally no more than £50. Something that would work as a day to day bag
