Has Frudi gone downhill?

Used to love Frugi stuff, was genuinely excited when a new line launched. But it feels like their quality has seriously gone downhill. The reflective strips on DS's latest coat have come off - that didn't happen on the two we had before. The wellies don't wear as well. Things don't seem to wash as well. I had some maternity leggings where the crotch just disintegrated. What's happened? I find myself going to JJMB much more now, as they have some lovely things in and I've had no quality issues as yet. (Was inspired by a thread on how many users have found Boden doing the same.)

Of course I mean Frugi!

They went into administration towards the end of last year and have now been bought by the parent company of Celtic & Co. This may have had an impact on the quality I suppose, although I would be quite surprised as Celtic & Co are also a higher end, ethical company.

@Stillbloodyraining I missed that the buyout was because they'd gone into administration. That might explain the slide in quality - I think I bought this coat about 18mo ago though DS has only been wearing it for about 3 months. Here's hoping the new owner can arrest the slide

I've not seen any change. I usually only buy tops for dc though
