Wired bras

I have been wearing non-wired bras for a while now with two pregnancies close together and then nursing for quite a while. I'm about to stop feeding and wondering if I would be sensible to go back to wired bras but quite like the comfort of non-wired. I'm a 34DD normally. Is it common sense to always wear wired? Thanks

This is the first time I hear of wearing wired bra as common sense and sensible!

Yes, wired (and padded) bras give more support and shape to breasts particularly if the breasts are big and sagging however non wired have come so far these days and you can get decent support and shape without wires. However, I haven't found the shape from non wired as good as wired and padded ones. I wear G cups.
I think the 'sensible' thing is to have a variety of styles to try and then keep different styles according to your wardrobe and lifestyle. Some days I want the vavavoom girls up to my chin look and most days I just want my back not to hurt and my boobs not to give me a black eye. I really recommend brastop.com and to measure your new size as you say 'normally' and I know breasts change after pregnancy and breastfeeding. Try booborbust.com
I'm currently in a nonwired non padded bra from M&S called Flexifit which I find very comfortable and the shape is ok, not as great as wired padded ones but it's a respectable shelf and my back is comfortable:

Thanks @JasmineInHerHair that all sounds really sensible.

I wear this around the house because it is so comfy but it gives me no shape. I'm a 34G so a non-wired bra is never going to give me that. If I want any shape, a bra has to be wired.
Maybe it's sensible to wear a mix.

Yes I think a mix is the way to go. Thanks both!
