How to look good without makeup?

Any tips? I get lash lifts but quite sporadically and they don’t seem to last long but do look good at the start. Anything else along these lines to make me look presentable with little effort!

Ooh, a tight ponytail. Although that can go either way in terms of results

Aka the 'Croydon Face-lift'?

Tan makes most people look much better! Just wash your hands thoroughly after you've applied it.

Really? I don’t agree. I think people look odd.

I had eyeliner tattooed on. Best £50 I've ever spent 10 years ago and I never wear anything else.

Definitely microbladed brows make a lot of difference! I had ombré brows done last year and the transformation is incredible. I barely wear make up as too lazy most of the time! I simply can't be bothered!

Lots and lots of water
Lots and lots of sleep
No caffeine
Cut back on sugar

Boring but works

I would avoid a fake tan. I attended a gathering last week and it's really ageing (if that's a concern). Some of the attendees had a deeper tan, some light, but they all had an orange tone.

I'd imagine they were using good quality products as they're quite well off.

I agree with @FusionChefGeoff

Also good moisturiser, matt or not as you choose, and lip balm.

@AtLeastThreeDrinks I use these ones. I am PALE and use 2 drops twice a week and it really takes the edge off the dead look. I use them in the morning so that I can still use my retinol at night. They don't smell and after 5/10 minutes I can put my makeup on as usual.

Thanks so much!

Today I spent lots of time outside and had a good workout. Still looking rough so will order some tan drops for a try. I do look better with a tan but not sure about fake tan. @AtLeastThreeDrinks do you mix those drops with moisturiser or just apply directly?

Not brave enough for micro blading though I’m going to pay more attention to brow grooming, think I’ll also order some of the prescription eyelash growth stuff. Anyone tried it?

I’ve not tried them yet but would definitely mix into your face moisturiser; you’ll get more even coverage and can top it up easily if you want a darker tan. I look much better with a natural tan too (winter makes me look like a dead person!) but fake is the next best thing to protect your skin.
