No7 skin care?

Sorry, for hogging the board.

I need to overhaul my skincare. Is no 7 any good?

I don't mind their make up (although the lady sold me the moisturising foundation instead of the mattfying one last time and it just melts off my face so that's annoying).

@Milany I don’t know the answer about the skincare but I recently got a voucher for £10 off a £20 spend and there is a free gift offer on ( happens to be a skin care one) so if you can get a voucher (I got mine buying something) then that will help cut the costs.

Milany · 23/02/2023 21:57

@Niftythrifter I only ever buy when they have vouchers. 😊 I have been known to loiter by the self service tills looking for a discarded voucher when the assistants have said it needs to be a receipt voucher rather than a random one they sometimes have.

I love their hot cloth cleansers and their gel moisturiser. They also do a hydrating mask which is fab. I've used a fair few of their products and have always enjoyed them

KirstenBlest · 23/02/2023 21:59

I like it.

Appleabananasandpears · 23/02/2023 22:03

No7 night cream is the best I’ve ever used.

lifesnotaspectatorsport · 23/02/2023 22:18

I love No7 Protect & Perfect day and night cream. I've got oily skin and it's just so light and cooling, never thick or greasy. I live abroad now and can't buy it online so any visitors always get asked to bring me more supplies!

BawRamEwe · 23/02/2023 22:19

I use their oil balm cleanser (it's meant to be a dupe for Clinique Take The Day Away) and it's really good.

I also use the No7 Laboritories Skin Peel and the Gylolic acid pads and those 2 items have made the biggest difference to my skin. After using them my skin feels ridiculously soft.

cheapskatemum · 23/02/2023 22:30

Their serums are brilliant.

Geckosgarage · 23/02/2023 22:36

Love their moisturiser and the beautifully matte foundation

Branster · 23/02/2023 22:52

I have only used 1 of their products, Laboratoires series the serum that looks like a syringe (if the stupid Boots app would work properly I'd get the exact name as it's in my favourites, but it doesn't let me)
I only buy it on offer, otherwise it's around £35.
It's a peptides, Matrixyl something serum, only use a tiny bit and it has cleared a vertical line between my eyes, that's how amazing it us. It doesn't do anything on fine lines. So I use it as preventative measures around my lips and on forehead. I'm terrified they will discontinue it at some point and usually have a reserve stock of at least 5 tubes. Packaging is absolutely pants, it's expensive for a 15ml tube at full price but the only product I truly believe in apart from tretinoin.
I never tried anything else from No7 but I'd expect it to be quite good quality. Never buy full price and be aware offers online are usually better than in store. It's a pain trying to work out what's the best deal with vouchers etc.

I'll look into this. I don't really have lines apart from one horizontal one at the top of my nose that makes me look like a klingon. I bought glasses with super thick frames to hide it, that's how much it bothers me. 😆

You could also look in your nearest branch as Boots did a skin care gift set for Xmas that is half price in my local branch so around £48 I think.
