Oversized sweatshirt?

I really want a big chunky sweatshirt. Not the thin kind that you can buy in Uniqlo etc, a properly heavy one . Can anyone recommend? I’ve googled but it’s hard to tell if the ones that come up are actually a heavy material or if I’ll be disappointed.

I've got a massive adidas sweatshirt. It's really good quality. Nice thick cotton. Plain grey with a small grey embroidered logo

Look in the men's departments of shops you like. Apparently men need thicker, warmer, better quality sweatshirts and women need short, thin, flimsy sweatshirts with glitter/studs/sequins.

I have 2 and both are men's. One from Zara, the other is Uniqlo and really really thick, an unusual cut, and a fab colour

Community clothing? I had an email from them the other day. Their 'heritage' line is apparently really heavyweight. I do like their things, well made.

Like PP I have an oversized adidas jumper. It's blue, thick, huge and just has a small grey adidas logo. Comfiest and warmest jumper I own. Got it from the mens section

I’ve also got a men’s adidas which I have nearly worn to death. But my most recent buy is a women's Tommy Hilfiger hoody & it’s so thick, warm & comfy.

I bought DH an abercrombie and fitch hoodie for his birthday. If I haven't managed to steal it in the next couple of weeks I'm buying my own, and yeah the men's version. It's amazing, super soft, baggy and amazing quality

Couture club is usually nice and thick and warm. Washes well too with no bobbling or fading.

I have taken my (adult) son's Under Armour hoody, I think it suits me better! I bought for him originally in Sports Direct. It's thigh length on me, a very dark navy and fairly discreet logo. It has washed very well, and I just love it!

I have a brilliant grey Arket one with a sort of fleecy lining. Perfect for wearing with joggers at home and looking presentable but cosy and comfy too. It does take forever to dry though.

I've bought some great ones from Kin at John Lewis in the past, which have worn really well. Also Cos. Both do the oversized look really well.

Men’s dept at TKmaxx - I’ve got a good New Balance one from there, and there’s lots of variety to choose from. Agree women’s are shit and glittery - also who needs ‘Smiles’ or ‘Kisses’ written across your chest when you’ve got your thinking face on?

Goose and gander. I bought the teen DD's some for Christmas. It's marketed as unisex. Just the right weight fabric and they have some really nice designs, though you can also get plain ones with just a small logo.
I've got one now too and I live in it!
