Company photo and headshot next week - what to wear?!

I work at a youthful design agency and am one of the more senior members. We'd have company photographs being done soon and want to look stylish, polished and together - yet still 'cool' for want of a better word!

I'm petite, brunette, slim, tend to wear jeans and knitwear or maxi/midi dresses - I don't possess a blazer or shirt but willing to buy something new.

The only guidance is no black allowed. Help!

Honestly- wear something you normally would. You'll feel more comfortable and it will look more natural.

What's the background for the photos? Some agencies I've worked at have "cool" graphics, graffiti, etc backgrounds- so you'd have to be careful about wearing prints

It's a brick wall background..cliche!

Wear a solid colour, no pattern. I'd go for something you would normally wear/feel comfortable in. Eg for me it would be a silk blouse but no blazer. Something that fits well, doesn't hang from you and isn't tight/pulling in places.

Would also recommend simple jewellery if that's what you normally wear and keep extra power with you to ward off the shine!
