Understanding Levi’s Sizing

Is the sizing the same in jeans and denim skirt and how do the sizes equate to in terms of numbered sizing?

28 is big 10, 29 small 12, 30 big 12 . 32 is 14

Its waist size in inches? All my levis i have are 30/28 or 30/30 waist and leg. Pre pregnancy im size 8 and 5'2. I have a 30 waist and short 28 or 30 legs. My jeans are vintage levi so not sure if the new ones work the same.

I wear the 310 Levi’s and the size varies a bit between the colours with the black being tighter than the two blue pairs I have. I’m a 12 and wear either 29 or 30 inch waist. I like a loose feel or could possibly go smaller.

I've got 2 pairs of 724s. I'm a 10-12. Biloth pairs are 30 waist. Old pair is fine, snug, but new pair is a bit big. I think their waist size has got larger in the last decade.

I tend to go for 32 and I'm around a size 14-15 in next

I have bought a 27 in the 501 cropped style. I thought that equates to a size 9

I’m a pear-shaped 10/12 and mine are all either 28, 29 or 30 depending on the style (mainly mom, high waisted fits). I thought 28 was 10, 29 was 11, and 30 was 12 - so on that basis I would say 27 is a 9!

@Niftythrifter yes it does but it will depend on your shape as they have zero stretch . I'm a curvy 10 and I wear 29 because I find 28 a bit restricting although I can get them on.

My usual size in jeans is 28" and occasionally 27" in Madewell and Muji. In Levis 28" is a bit too tight. I have to go up to 29".

I think the sizing somewhat depends on the style and the rise. Broadly I’d say a 28 waist is a 10.

I think it depends on the cut/style.

I have a few pairs and the ones I am wearing at the moment which are ribcage, 501 and another looser fit. I am an 8 usually and in just these 3 styles I have a 26, 27 and a 28.

I always have to try them on, I would never order online personally.

I have just bought some for my ds (he wasn't with me and it was a good sale) and I bought 3 pairs so that he can try each on and return what he didn't like. All 32/32, two pairs fit him like a glove, and one pair are quite tight. Def could size up in that one pair.

Of course it's best to try on in a Levi's store but that isn't always easy to do . As a rule those sizes works for me but I'm very hourglass curvy
