Wedding guest dress...help!

My brother is getting married this summer (in Canada, so it will likely be 30⁰C) and is having a black tie reception.

I am fairly useless with style and have no idea what to wear.

I am 5'2 and have a kind of hourglass shape with a big bust (36G currently). I say "kind of hourglass" because I had a baby a few months ago and my waist isn't totally back yet, but I'm hoping it will be by the wedding.

I used to buy clothes from Bravissimo, but now they don't do clothes other than bras and swimwear, so I have no idea where to buy a dress that fits.

Could anyone please either tell me where to shop or (even better) send some links of dresses that might actually make me look nice instead of my current baby-sick/toddler whirlwind vagabond look?

If the reception is black tie that is quite formal. Canadians and Americans tend to really 'do' black tie where as we might consider semi-formal or short cocktail dresses suitable.
I would think the dress has to be tea-length at least if not ballet length or full maxi length.

What size dress would you have been before you had your baby? Also what is your budget?

As you're large of chest (like myself) and 5'2" (again, like me) I'd recommend taking a look at Next as they do a LOT of the brands that used to be available on the high street but that have disappeared. I've also included some from Phase Eight and from Coast.

I was a size 14-16, but it was very hit or miss because the waist was always too loose since I needed to squeeze the bust in. I suspect I was closer to a 12 waist. 12-14 trouser size.

I didn't look at the sizes at the time and that one isn't available in a 14-16. It might be on Vinted or Ebay if you really wanted it.
