Thick nude tights?!

So I’m going to be wearing fancy dress with some knee high boots and a short dress. My thighs look ok when concealed in my usual 60 denier black tights or skinny jeans but this outfit really calls for nude tights or bare legs. Do such things as thick nude tights that cover up veiny wobbly thighs but are not some kind of odd dark tan exist? Please help!

Support tights are good for this. Boots sell them medium or firm support.

I just layer them up -
I find a colour that suits me (which, more often than not, is something nearly as white as paper) - then just layer up - like, three pairs on top of each other.

... thinking about it, is this a bit odd?
