Red lipstick recommendations needed

Something that can be bought in Boots or Superdrug that would suit a pale complexion with a pink undertone.

With a pink undertone, you'd be best looking for colours with a blue base, rather than an orangey red. I've heard very good things about Russian Red by Mac, which can be bought in Boots.

Hopefully someone else will have some other suggestions as well!

Ruby woo is the holy grail of blue reds.

I used to like Ruby Woo, but it’s very drying. I bought a Chanel one in Gabrielle and it’s gorgeous.

OP I have the same colouring as you and don't suit Ruby woo at all. It looks terrible on me!

If you can get to a boots go to the no 7 counter. They have a little machine which they hold next to your cheek and it tells you which of their foundation and lipstick shades will suit you. I was really surprised at the lipstick shades they suggested for me but they were spot on.
