Spring coats or jacket time

I am out in my light puffer today and it is still too heavy in London! ( also peri). What light coats are you all wearing this spring?

I’d love to know too, I get really warm bit need an extra layer. My go to is a denim jacket when it’s warm but I’m not really into that at the moment.

I wear my trench coat

If it's milder I wear what they call a "shacket", bloody hate the word though, but it fits the bill of when a padded coat is too warm.
Or I just later up with thin thermal base (m&s heat things) t shirt and jumper/sweatshirt and skip the jacket.
I find light weight fabric jackets hard to style, my style is not smart enough to wear a trench.

Yeah, trenches and shackets don't suit me. But am considering a coat in a bright spring colour. Seems impossible to find anything non polyester and non spendy though.
