Says it all really. I can’t even post properly.
Anyway.
Totally knackered, recently bereaved, 3 stone overweight and drinking too much to compensate for everything.
I give much less of a crap now, but still not willing to accept that this me (washed up, demotivated, fat and exhausted looking) is the future.
I need to start exercising, eating and drinking better. Introduce some sort of a skin care regime etc etc. I keep hearing about collagen and retinol?!
But it all just seems too complex and like too much effort. And I don’t appear to have the “self-love” or motivation to follow through with anything anyway.
I did two weeks of dry Jan and dieting, which lost me 5 pounds, but then gave up. And have put it all back on again.
Can anyone help me make a simple plan?!
Thanks so much

Just start with one thing. It's never a quick fix and if you try and make it a quick fix it won't be sustainable.

Pick one thing to add in to your life this week. Could be something like a large glass of water between breakfast and lunch and another between lunch and dinner. Or to cleanse your face every night before bed. Or to take the stairs instead of the lift/escalator where you can.

Just one thing. Do it for a week. Then add one other thing. Focus on adding and not taking away. Next week's might be to add more veg to your evening meal or add in a 20 minute walk in your lunch break at work.

Consistency is key so make it easy to do. Also, make decisions when it's easy to do so. If you're always hungry when you get home from work and go straight for the biscuits then maybe make the decision what to eat when you get home from work (a yoghurt and some fruit maybe) at another time when it's easy to make the decision so that when you get home from work and you're hungry you get the yoghurt and fruit instead of the biscuits.

Baby steps. You've got this.

P.s. I'm sorry for your loss. 💐
