Or is it just me?

Just you

CouldIHaveThatInEnglishPlease · 18/02/2023 23:20

I don’t like trainers much. I have one pair for sports and that’s it.

APurpleSquirrel · 18/02/2023 23:20

Me! I usually wear calf-length boots with skinny jeans; trainers or ankle boots with bootcut jeans.

Queenmargery · 18/02/2023 23:20

I occasionally wear Converse type trainers with jeans but I hate more 'sporty' ones with jeans.

SpringyChicken · 18/02/2023 23:21

OP what do you wear with jeans? Boots? Loafers?

crispinglovershighkick · 18/02/2023 23:29

I like trainers with anything but jeans. I wear Birks or ankle boots with jeans.

DangerPigeon · 18/02/2023 23:30

Boots and then converse type plimsolls in the summer.

Bbq1 · 18/02/2023 23:30

I don't do jeans atm

DramaAlpaca · 18/02/2023 23:31

I usually go for ankle boots with jeans. I would never wear sporty trainers with them, it's not my sort of look, but as someone else said the Converse types are OK.

Niftythrifter · 18/02/2023 23:41

I wear Converse shoes or the Primark version of thel shoes and boots but just couldn’t do the more sporty trainers.

Luredbyapomegranate · 18/02/2023 23:46

Not the sporty ones no.

But the more converse type ones yep.

She means the more built up ones that look like something you might go to the gym in

Ellewoods20 · 18/02/2023 23:51

Me! Trainers care fine but I don’t do jeans

Floisme · 18/02/2023 23:51

Mainly flat lace up shoes / ankle boots. Sometimes chunky loafers. Flat sandals in the summer. I don't like trainers - nearest I get to wearing them are plimsolls.

MrsRobinsonsHandprints · 18/02/2023 23:53

Boots with jeans, only boots.

I would consider converse pumps not trainers.

no I don’t do trainers with jeans either.

Niftythrifter · 19/02/2023 00:10

Trainers are for running in or doing sport in my mind. Wouldn’t do trainers with dresses either. It’s just not for me.

I don't wear jeans. But I do wear barefoot trainers.

RoseMartha · 19/02/2023 00:49

I only occasionally wear trainers but I will wear them with jeans. I am more likely to wear boots or plimsoles with jeans.

Same.

In winter I wear boots, in summer loafers or sandals.

liveforsummer · 19/02/2023 00:55

Certainly not in February, I can't wear trainers til May, or April if it's particularly mild. Once it's warm enough to roll up jeans and expose a bit of ankle then I'd wear trainers but perhaps not running style often with jeans. I'm not sure how to describe the type i mean but like chunkier leather converse

AromaSun · 19/02/2023 01:05

I'm with you. I cannot do jeans and trainers. However leggings and trainers and sweatshirts are my new friend. Short boots and leggings and oversized jumpers yes. My legs are my thinnest part so always leggings.

LadyPoison · 19/02/2023 01:30

I don't actually own a pair of trainers.

I do have a pair of white Converse that have been in their box for 3 years now unworn as I don't want to risk getting them dirty....

fieryivy · 19/02/2023 02:16

I don't really do jeans though I do own some. In fact I don't know what sort of shoes I would wear with them.

I'm with you and I own a few pairs of trainers but they're all sport related. Even the flat leisure type trainers are worn in the way to classes, with gym gear, only. Though I love my Brooks trainers for comfort
